How I Quilted the Little Forest Cottage
I love quilting my own quilts and for this sweet design I chose the Primrose Stipple Quilt Stencil that has flowing loops and pretty little flowers, giving it a woodland feel. It was very easy to do, simply mark the stencil design with an erasable fabric pen and then free-motion quilt following the lines. To mark the design, begin on one side of the quilt and reposition the stencil as you go across the quilt, tracing the lines.
Quilting Tip – only mark what you think you’ll be able to quilt in the next few hours or that day.
